Airborne Counter-UAV System HARPIE FEROCE
The solution of malicious drone neutralization from Gerfaut was selected by the French Secrétariat Général à la Défense et à la Sécurité Nationale (SGDSN), after several evaluation phases, including multiple interceptions of typical threats.
The Harpie Féroce system neutralized all simulated attacks, including swarms of drones,thus probably achieving a world first by intercepting from the air.
Carried out in the presence of the Strategic Sector Committee (CSF) of the Security Industries, this selection aimed to bring out promising projects for securing major events. Gerfaut LAD has distinguished itself by opening up the operational field of Counter-UAS warfare, in terms of anticipation, mobility, elongation and pursuit of the remote pilots.

First operational system from the Gerfaut LAD concept, Harpie Féroce is an anti-drone interceptor based on a Sinus / Virus aircraft marketed by Finesse Max, and on a drone neutralization device derived from products of our partner MC2 Technologies.
The specifications of the concept established by UrWing resulted in disruptive operational results compared to the current state of the art of Counter-UAV warfare.
Harpie Féroce is the immediate response to integrate security disposals of large-scale events and to face threats from malicious drones.
